According to many sources, Hilary Duff will indeed be joining “Gossip Girl” for Season 3.

Rumors are that she is going to play Olivia Burke, a movie star who “enrolls at NYU in search of a traditional college experience”. It is also said that Duff will be Jessica Szohr’s roommate, who plays Vanessa on the hit television series.

Apparently Duff is not the only one joining the popular show. Joanna Garcia (Privileged) is also planning to appear on several episodes as “an irreverent, slightly evil Miss America-type who hails from a conservative Southern family.”
